Description

The Torun flatware pattern was designed by Swedish silversmith Vivianna Torun Bülow-Hübe and introduced by Dansk in 1987. The design features smooth, organically curved handles formed by hand modeling clay, resulting in a sculptural yet ergonomic silhouette. Each piece reflects a subtle asymmetry, aligned with the designer’s background in jewelry and Scandinavian modernism.

A defining detail of the set is the dinner knife, designed to rest upright on its edge when placed on a surface. This detail emphasizes both form and function, and aligns with mid-century ideals of thoughtful design.
