Rare vintage decor piece made in the early 1900s. This piece of carnival glass in excellent condition with bright orange sheen and reflected rainbows. Carnival glass is a kind of iridescent glass coated to refract light, which gives the glass a rainbow appearance similar to what you see on an oil slick or the surface of a bubble. Traditionally used as a small centerpiece or dish for sweet treats.

Measures roughly 3” tall and 5” wide.

There is a notable roughed edge at the underside of the piece so please see photos in detail. We do not think this imperfection reduces the overall look or functionality of the piece. Signs of wear are commensurate with age.
