Created by famous designer Russell Wright. These gorgeous stoneware pieces were manufactured in New York by Iroquois. The Casual line is a successor of his American Modern collection. Before all else, these were crafted for their immense durability. At the launch of the collection in 1950, the manufacturer offered a money-back guarantee in the case of needless chipping. Russell Wright went from department store to department store, showcasing his latest work by flipping a bin of dishware upside down over the counter, proving their strength. The successful collection remained in production for nearly 20 years and was discontinued in 1967.
