Oddball Old Fashioned Glass Orb Pair by Morgantown Circa 1969
This ultra-rare vintage find is from a little-known line produced by Morgantown in West Virginia.
The mid-century modern pieces have an off Side Globe Bowl, Black Base, and No Trim. The collection was extremely limited and came in 8” & 5” snack bowls, these stunning 8.5 oz. Old-fashioned glasses and a martini pitcher with a stirrer. The pieces came in either transparent bowls with black bases or black bowls with transparent bases (listed and photographed here). The rarest and most sought-after piece from the line is an oddball like this one with an 8 on it and aptly called “Eight Ball”.
This listing comes as a pair of two glasses standing roughly 4.5 inches at their tallest.
