  • CLAY+CODA Gallery Old Town Albuquerque, NM United States (map)

On June 3, CLAY+CODA invites photographers, videographers, and creatives to an exclusive media day inside our future gallery — a space with deep roots in New Mexico’s art history. Once home to the Sagrada Studios (est. 1969), this adobe building hosted artists from around the world and shaped a generation of Southwestern design.

Before we move in, we’re offering a rare chance to document the space in its rawest form. Volunteer models will be present, and all media captured will contribute to telling the forgotten story of a foundational creative space in our community. This is an opportunity for photographers who favor depth over volume — who create with clarity, restraint, and vision.

  • The space is full of natural light with several windows and glass doors

  • Photographers will be scheduled in one-hour blocks, so no more than three will be in the space at any time

  • Models will be booked in 2-hour blocks so they can shoot with various photographers

  • Small props will be made available, such as fabrics and simple chairs

This event is free. This space is rare. And this story deserves to be seen.
