From the late 1955s, development began in the Four Hills area located in Albuquerque's southeast quadrant. With its foothill's location and large lots with spectacular views of the mountains and the city, Four Hills is an elite area to live in. Furthermore, if we talk about Albuquerque's county club, the most famous and the second county club of Albuquerque is in the Four Hills Village. Proudly, one of the most famous Cuban poster artists, Bob Baldock, designed the Four Hills golf course, which now boasts a 135-acre 18-hole par 72.

Furthermore, Four Hills' natural and mountainous environment attracts the people and makes it the most wanted place to spend the life. Four Hills is also famous for its beautiful houses and architectural styles, such as mid-century modern or ranch architectural styles. However, the beauty and practicality of the MCM style make it endearing to the people. 

Four Hills Village Facilities 

The Village provides excellent facilities and luxuries for an ordinary person to relish. To illustrate it a bit furthermore, you can enjoy tennis, dining, and swimming, as well as two extensive ballroom-style dinner amenities. Moreover, at the end of the stagecoach road is the Manzano Four Hills trailhead. This open wilderness area has miles upon miles of trails, mountain bike trails, and spectacular views of the city and mountains. However, to secure the area, they prohibit Motor Vehicles on all of the 146 acres.

Four Hills Village Housing  

The Hills community comprises a diverse mixture of housing, including townhomes and single-family homes. Similarly, this area has recently seen tremendous growth with the newly built homes in the breeze at foothill gate covered wagon and winter wood. The Four Hills houses are the talk of the town; in fact, houses contribute the most to its popularity.

Four Hills Village Businesses

The Four Hills shopping center and commercial district contained businesses, for instance, Smith's Food, Drug Albertsons, the United Artists movie theater, Dion's pizza, Starbucks, and Einstein's bagels, to name a few. Also, for new businesses, this place is the way to go. People often take startups and boom in their business.  

Consequently, at the entrance to Four Hills, the newly built la luz de Amistad park offers benches and a walking path. This park sits right along the Interstate 40 Highway. This famous interstate was originally called route 66, the Mother Road; it ran from California to Illinois.

Four Hills Village Schools

The schools for the Four Hills area in the Albuquerque School District include the Apache elementary school, the grant middle school, which also has the grant middle school park. There is a children's playground, a football and soccer field, and a large walking path surrounding the park. The oldest high school is Manzano high school. However, the officials are implementing new strategies to make schools more beneficial and useful for the kids.
